- Fall-only Commitment: When a player commits to play on a Fall-only team, they are committing to playing with the same team for fall playing season. The fall season consists of twice weekly, 1.5 hour practices and eight league games. Teams will participate in the BIT on November 4th and 5th.

Players should attend both try-out sessions so coaches can most accurately assess each player.
Players must attend at least one try-out session to be considered for placement on a team.
Scheduling Conflict / Injury: If a player is injured or has a scheduling conflict on a try-out date, they still need to be registered. There is a step within the registration process to indicate injury / scheduling conflict; please make sure these fields are checked if applicable.
There are no try-out make-up dates. If a player is unable to attend a try-out, BYSA will use coach assessments from prior play for the potential placement on a team.
Try-out Location: St. Andrew’s Field (117 Middle Hwy.)
What to Bring (and what not to wear) to Try-outs: All players must wear cleats and shin guards, and bring a soccer ball and water to try-outs. Players are not to wear any jewelry (including earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and rings).
Travel Team Players House League Game Commitment: All Fall-only and Year-round travel players are placed on a BYSA Fall House League team at no additional charge. Players should attempt to attend practices and games for both their Travel and House league teams. However, players are not obligated to attend House league practices. If a player has a scheduling conflict between Travel and House league games, players must attend the Travel game.
Barrington Invitational Tournament (BIT): The BIT will be held on November 4th and 5th. It is the largest event in Barrington every year, drawing over 100 teams to our town. BYSA asks that every travel team family volunteer at least two hours during this weekend.
New Players to Travel Team Soccer: Players who are new to Travel Team soccer must have their birth certificate and a photo (passport size / headshot) uploaded in GotSoccer. Please click HERE for instructions on uploading a player’s birth certificate and photo in GotSoccer.
